SIC'EM BEARS!

The Baylor Bears have made it to the Women's College World Series!

For those of you that do not know, Chris started his softball career at LSU as a manager and a volunteer coach (1996 - 2000). At LSU, he worked under Glenn Moore who started out as an assistant and was later the Head Coach at LSU. During Glenn's two years as Head Coach, he made it to the NCAA Regionals in 1999 and 2000 and was one game away from the WCWS.

After his stint there, Chris went with Glenn Moore to Baylor Univeristy (2000-2002). At Baylor as a volunteer coach, Chris was a part of laying the foundation of the new Baylor Softball program.

Last weekend, Chris had the opportunity to go to Waco and be in Getterman Stadium when the Bears won the NCAA Super Regional to advance to the WCWS for the first time in school history and in Glenn's coaching career. Chris still loves Baylor Softball and the Moores, Coach Lumley and Britni and Josh Newman are like family to us. Needless to say, Chris was just as excited as they were!

So, the WCWS starts today (Thursday, May 31, 2007) and Chris and I get to go and watch Baylor play! (Well, he is going tonight, coming back tomorrow to get me and then I get to see the rest of the games!) We are so excited and can't wait to see the Bears win!
